The Pandeiro has a special significance in Samba, likewise in many other Brasilian music styles, and is without a doubt Brazil's most typical percussion instrument.

In cooperation with the renown percussionist Gilson de Assis we have developed a top class Pandeiro that offers a large variety of sound possibilities and at the same time provides a high level of comfort during play.

Unlike conventional Pandeiros there are no disturbing tension hooks, but rather our tested tuning system that is integrated into the frame itself and allows for a smooth and easy tuning of the hide.

A further advantage of this system is that it is weight saving: Our Pandeiro is one of the lightest in the world!

The use of selected natural hides that we prepare especially for this purpose so that they are very flexible gives our Pandeiro a deep, warm sound that harmoniously complements the fine metal sound of the jingles.

We offer two different models of the Pandeiro: Classic with one skin, or with double skin for those that prefer a more dampened Pandeiro sound without having to tape the skin.

The jingles can be exchanged and as an added attraction the distance between the jingles can be individually adjusted, so that the sound from each jingle pair can be changed to suit your taste or they can be completly mute.

This very versatile Pandeiro with its superior workmanship is convincing not only because of its limited weight and diversity of handling, but also because of its broad spectrum of sound variations.
